THE OJAI VINEYARD GROWS
Ojai Vineyard wine enthusiasts now will have plenty of
elbowroom
to swirl their glasses as the vineyard opens its new, larger
tasting room
in January. It will feature the award-winning Central Coast
wines of
Adam Tolmach, who has made wine in the Ojai Valley for 30
years.
Immediately adjacent to the original 300-square-foot tasting
room
on Montgomery Street in downtown Ojai, the new space is
1,500
square feet, with 70 linear feet of bar space, newly stained
and polished
concrete floors, and an expanded patio area with table
seating out front.
Tolmach wants the focus to be on education, so visitors can
expect to
see displays that will highlight the region, the winemaking
process and
the winery’s history. Wine education classes and wine club
events will
be offered, and expanded tasting options will include
opportunities to
taste library varietals.
